OLD WESTMINSTER -
1,000 Years of History
Cyril Kane - Tylden, Victoria, Australia
February 2009
WE went on this walk on a freezing January afternoon.
However as guide Judy succintly pointed out, clear skies and no leaves on the trees were good news.
It meant we could see the structure of Westminster Abbey from various vantage points without any overhanging foliage.
And who would know the little back streets of Westminster were/are prime residential areas. The street names came about from the name(s) of the principal developers for each, individual street.
Absolutely brilliant, this walk.
