OCCULT LONDON & THE DA VINCI CODE
Vinod - Kenton, Harrow
November 2010
Drop the "Occult London" from the title of this walk, this is all about Dan Browns book and the movie, which is all fiction. we can read the book or watch the film for that. I thought London Walks specialised in the behind the scenes stuff or the shadow London WHAT WE DON'T SEE. I've been on quit a few London Walks and I was disapointed with this one, Brian you need to rework the content of this walk.

My mother and I (lady with platinum blonde hair and girl with green maxi skirt and high heels ;)) both had a fantastic time today with Sir Richard III on the Da Vinci Code walk. He was full of funny and fascinating comments and anecdotes aside from perfectly recounting Dan Brown's amazing tale. We had to leave the tour before we embarked on the St James Park part toward the end, however, as my mother is getting on in years (despite her youthful looks) and we sadly did not have the opportunity to catch up with Richard to say goodbye. Please, please let him know how much we enjoyed the tour and we most certainly will be back. Thank you dear Richard for a lovely and very entertaining afternoon! Great walk, great company, great guide! Cheers! Mia and Katharina

It should be said that this walk is NOT a walk about occult London, unfortunately. It is purely about the Da Vinci Code.

Tom (I think that was his name, the former barrister) is an outstanding guide who is a great storyteller.

I really enjoyed this walk.

The Round Church was fascinating. Would like to go back one day. http://elephantseyegarden.blogspot.com/2010/02/da-vinci-walking-in-london.html

I did this walk today after reading the description on the website. Imagine my disappointment, then, when it became apparent that this would be just a Da Vinci Code walk and would not incorporate any of the aspects that the description suggested I would see. While I have read and somewhat enjoyed The Da Vinci Code, I probably would have not done the walk if I knew it would be fully devoted to the novel.
