The Weekday Day Trips Season
is underway! It's Stonehenge & Salisbury every Tuesday (9.15 am from the main ticket office of Waterloo Railway Station); Oxford & the Cotswolds every Wednesday (9.15 am from the main ticket office of Paddington Railway Station). And from May 17 it'll be Bath (9 am every Thursday* from the main ticket office of Paddington Railway station). *Through Sept. 27
Olympics WalksThe Olympics Walks schedule for Spring-early Summer (May 1 onward) has just gone up. In the Spring-early Summer programme it'll take place daily at 2.15 pm. And in the Spring-Summer programme on Saturdays and Sundays it'll also go at 10.45 am. That's in addition to the daily 2.15 pm walk.

The little synagogue, tucked away from the noise and bustle of the city, is a jewel. "Fizzy" Steve (their words, not mine!) is a splendid guide. Not to be missed. |

Bruce, Laurie, Jonathan Henkin - Scarsdale, New York August 2008 We took the "Old Jewish Quarter and a Shetel Called Whitechaple" on Sunday, 24th of August....our tour guide was Shaaughan....TERRRIFIC experience....his knowledge of the area was spectacular and just listening to him talk was a joy. On our next trip, expect to find us on another walking tour...and if he is our guide, so much the better. Jonathan especially enjoyed conversing with him; he has a fine touch with young folk. |
